Fremont County buildings will be closed Jan. 1 for New Year's Day.
County Commission meets the first three Mondays, unless otherwise advertised, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at County Courthouse in St. Anthony.
Planning and Zoning Commission meets fourth Monday at 6 p.m. at County Annex in St. Anthony.
Assessor's Office will begin accepting applications for the 2010 Property Tax Reduction (Circuit Breaker) Program.
Fremont County buildings will be closed Jan. 18 for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Personal Property Declarations for Main Property Roll are mailed to taxpayers.
County Commission meets as Board of Equalization on 2009 2nd Subsequent Property Roll Jan. 4.
Clerk's Office mails application letters for exempt parcels.
First half taxes due on 2009 1st Subsequent Property Roll Jan. 8.

February

March

Planning and Zoning Commission meets fourth Monday at 6 p.m. at County Annex in St. Anthony.
Personal Property Declarations for Main Property Roll are due to the Assessor's Office by the second Monday of March.
Deadline to apply for Agricultural Exemption is March 15 in Assessor's Office.
Applications for exempt parcels are due to the Clerk's Office by March 15.
Declaration of candidacy may be filed March 8-19 at the Clerk's Office for the Sugar-Salem Community Library and Fremont County Library districts and the Fremont County Primary elections.

April

Planning and Zoning Commission meets fourth Monday at 6 p.m. at County Annex in St. Anthony.
Deadline to apply for Property Tax Reduction (Circuit Breaker) Program is April 15 in Assessor's Office. Applications must be made annually.
Deadline to apply for Homeowners Exemption is April 15 in Assessor's Office.
Last day to file intent to run as write-in candidate in Fremont County Primary Election is April 30.

May

County Commission meets the first three Mondays, unless otherwise advertised, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at County Courthouse in St. Anthony.
Planning and Zoning Commission meets fourth Monday at 6 p.m. at County Annex in St. Anthony.
Fremont County buildings will be closed May 31 for Memorial Day.
Summer hours at St. Anthony and Island Park Landfills are in effect from mid-May to mid-September.
May 25 is Fremont County Primary Election Day and election day for the Sugar-Salem Community Library and Fremont County Library districts.

June

County Commission meets the first three Mondays, unless otherwise advertised, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at County Courthouse in St. Anthony.
Planning and Zoning Commission meets fourth Monday at 6 p.m. at County Annex in St. Anthony.
Second half 2009 property taxes due June 20.
Property Assessment Notices for Main Property Roll will be mailed to taxpayers by the 1st Monday in June. Taxpayers have until the fourth Monday of June to protest those values with the Assessor's Office. County Commissioners will meet as Board of Equalization to hear protests beginning in late June. BOE appointments MUST be made on or before 5 p.m. on the fourth Monday of June.

July

Planning and Zoning Commission meets fourth Monday at 6 p.m. at County Annex in St. Anthony.
Fremont County buildings will be closed July 5 for Independence Day.

August

County Commission meets the first three Mondays, unless otherwise advertised, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at County Courthouse in St. Anthony.
Fremont County Fair in St. Anthony. Dates to be announced.
Planning and Zoning Commission meets fourth Monday at 6 p.m. at County Annex in St. Anthony.

September

Fremont County buildings will be closed Sept. 6 for Labor Day.
County Commission meets the first three Mondays, unless otherwise advertised, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at County Courthouse in St. Anthony.
Planning and Zoning Commission meets fourth Monday at 6 p.m. at County Annex in St. Anthony.
County Budget Hearing for 2011 fiscal year is Sept. 7 at 10:10 a.m. followed by Ambulance District hearing at County Courthouse in St. Anthony.
Declaration of Candidacy filing deadline is Sept. 1 for the Island Park, North Fremont and South Fremont fire districts elections.
Winter hours are in effect at St. Anthony and Island Park Landfills from mid-September to mid-May.

October

Last day to file intent to run as write-in candidate in Fremont County General Election is Oct. 8.

November

Planning and Zoning Commission meets fourth Monday at 6 p.m. at County Annex in St. Anthony.
Fremont County buildings will be closed Nov. 12 for Veterans Day.
Fremont County buildings will be closed Nov. 25 for Thanksgiving Day.
Tax Notices for Main Property Roll are mailed to taxpayers no later than fourth Monday of November.
Transient Personal Property Declarations are due to the Assessor's Office by the first Monday of November.
First Subsequent Property Roll Personal Property Declarations are due to the Assessor's Office by the first Monday.
Fremont County General Election Day is Nov. 2. Also, Island Park, North Fremont and South Fremont fire district elections.

December

County Commission meets the first three Mondays, unless otherwise advertised, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at County Courthouse in St. Anthony.
First half 2010 Main Property Roll property taxes due Dec. 20.
