January

Jan. 1 - Fremont County buildings will be closed for New Year's Day.
Jan. 2 - County Commission meets as Board of Equalization for sub roll only.
Jan. 15 - Fremont County buildings will be closed for Idaho Human Rights Day.
-County Commission meets the first three Mondays, unless otherwise advertised, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at County Courthouse in St. Anthony.
-Planning and Zoning Commission meets third Monday at 6 p.m. at County Annex in St. Anthony.
-Assessor's Office will begin accepting applications for the 2018 Property Tax Reduction (Circuit Breaker) Program. Application must be made annually.
-Personal Property Declarations for 2018 Primary Property Roll are mailed to taxpayers.
-Clerk's Office mails application letters for exempt property parcels.

February

Feb. 3 - First half taxes due on 2017 1st Subsequent Property Roll.
Feb. 19 - Fremont County buildings will be closed for Presidents Day.
-County Commission meets the first three Mondays, unless otherwise advertised, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at County Courthouse in St. Anthony.
-Planning and Zoning Commission meets third Monday at 6 p.m. at County Annex in St. Anthony.

March

March 15 - Deadline to apply for Agricultural Property Tax Exemption in Assessor's Office.
March 15 - Applications for exempt parcels are due to the Clerk's Office.
-County Commission meets the first three Mondays, unless otherwise advertised, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at County Courthouse in St. Anthony.
-Planning and Zoning Commission meets third Monday at 6 p.m. at County Annex in St. Anthony.
-Personal Property Declarations for Primary Property Roll are due to the Assessor's Office by the second Monday of March.

April

April 16 - Deadline to apply for Property Tax Reduction (Circuit Breaker) Program in Assessor's Office. Applications must be made annually.

-Planning and Zoning Commission meets third Monday at 6 p.m. at County Annex in St. Anthony.
-Boat Wash opens in May. Contact County Weed Department for information.
-Summer hours at St. Anthony and Island Park Landfills are in effect from mid-May to mid-September.

June

June 20 - Second half 2017 property taxes due.
-County Commission meets the first three Mondays, unless otherwise advertised, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at County Courthouse in St. Anthony.
-Planning and Zoning Commission meets third Monday at 6 p.m. at County Annex in St. Anthony.
-Property Assessment Notices for Primary Property Roll will be mailed to taxpayers by the 1st Monday in June. Taxpayers have until the fourth Monday of June to protest those values with the Assessor's Office. County Commissioners will meet as Board of Equalization to hear protests beginning in late June. BOE appointments must be made by 5 p.m. on the fourth Monday of June.
-Weed Worker Workshop is in June. Contact Weed Department for information.

July

July 4 - Fremont County buildings will be closed for Independence Day.
-County Commission meets the first three Mondays, unless otherwise advertised, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at County Courthouse in St. Anthony.
-Planning and Zoning Commission meets third Monday at 6 p.m. at County Annex in St. Anthony.

August

Aug. 6-11 - Fremont County Fair in St. Anthony. Market stock sale at 1 p.m. Aug. 11.
-County Commission meets the first three Mondays, unless otherwise advertised, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at County Courthouse in St. Anthony.
-Planning and Zoning Commission meets third Monday at 6 p.m. at County Annex in St. Anthony.

Sept. 3 - Fremont County buildings will be closed for Labor Day.

Nov. 12 - Fremont County buildings will be closed for Veterans Day.
Nov. 22 - Fremont County buildings will be closed for Thanksgiving Day.
-County Commission meets the first three Mondays, unless otherwise advertised, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at County Courthouse in St. Anthony.
-Planning and Zoning Commission meets third Monday at 6 p.m. at County Annex in St. Anthony.
-Tax Notices for Primary Property Roll are mailed to taxpayers no later than fourth Monday of November.
-Transient Personal Property Declarations are due to the Assessor's Office by the first Monday of November.

December

Dec. 20 - First half 2018 Primary Property Roll property taxes due.
Dec. 25 - Fremont County buildings will be closed for Christmas Day.

-Protests of 1st Subsequent Property Roll values heard in Assessor's Office.
