  • Jan. 16 - Healthcare Provider CPR Classes, St. Anthony EMS building, 10 a.m. Note: Additional HCP CPR classes may be scheduled subject to availability of instructors. Classes must have a minimum of 6 students registered 7 days prior to class date and be approved by the EMS director. Course fees to be determined.   • Jan. 27 - The Master Gardener Program hosted by the University of Idaho Extension Service will be offered on Wednesdays Jan. 27 to May 11 from 6-9 p.m. at the Fremont County Annex building in St. Anthony. Contact County Extension Office to sign up. Registration deadline is Jan. 26.
  • Planning and Zoning Commission meets third Monday at 6 p.m. at County Annex in St. Anthony.
  • Assessor's Office will begin accepting applications for the 2016 Property Tax Reduction (Circuit Breaker) Program. Application must be made annually.

February

  • Feb. 4 - The Ashton Cereal School hosted by the University of Idaho Extension Service for grain producers and the agriculture industry will be held at the Trails Inn Restaurant in Ashton at 8:30 a.m., Grain presentations will be by Dr. Juliet Marshall, Dr. Arash Rashed, Dr. Howard Neibling, and other educators from U of I Extension.   • Feb. 5 - First half taxes due on 2015 1st Subsequent Property Roll
  • Feb. 5 - Last day for County Commissioners to designate polling places prior to March 8 election.
  • Feb. 12 - Last day to pre-register to vote with the County Clerk until 5 p.m. for the March 8 election. Registration closes in those districts holding a March 8 election. Election Day registration is available.

  • Late Night with Life Flight, Life Flight Network, Rexburg, 5:30 p.m. Note: Dates to be announced. Classes are not part of the regular FCEMS curriculum, but address recertification material that is typically hard to get elsewhere, and include Helicopter Landing Zone Officer training. FCEMS attendees can car pool and should meet at the St. Anthony EMS shed at 5 p.m. for departure. No course fee.   • March 16 - The annual Eastern Idaho Forage School hosted by the University of Idaho Extension Service will be held at the Veterans Building at the Madison County Fairgrounds in Rexburg. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. Presentations starting at 9 a.m. include: Vole Control in Forages, Hay Market Outlook, Invasive Weed Management, Organic Hay Production, and Water Use Efficiency for Forages.
