Present for the meeting were Commissioners Neal Christiansen Frank Mackert and Glenn Davis. Chief Deputy Clerk Joanne Wilkening was present to take minutes.
Property Tax: Scott Kamanchi met with the commissioners on the property tax he was charged on his home. Appraiser Jeremy Dixon was present and discussed the valuation. Kamanchi and Dixon agree that the home was not complete and the commissioners will work with the assessor and treasurer to see if there should be a reduction.
Social Services: Deputy clerk Mary Osborn met with the commissioners in a closed session to review claims for county services for medical care: Commissioner Glenn Davis made a motion on the following claims: to approve medical claim #99-101 for an estimated $15,000 before negotiations, a catastrophic claim that will be turned over to the state after the first ten thousand is paid by the county, approved with a reimbursement agreement. Commissioner Neal Christiansen seconded the motion; a voice vote was taken with all commissioners voting in favor.
There being a meeting in Boise that the commissioners and other elected officials were attending, no other business was scheduled or discussed to allow for travel.
There being no further business to come before this Board, the meeting was recessed until the next regularly scheduled meeting to be held on March 08, 1999.
Dated at St. Anthony, Idaho, this eighth day of February 1999.
