Public Hearing Notice: Road Validation/Vacation

Pursuant to Idaho Code 40-203 and 203A, the Fremont County Board of County Commissioners will hold the
following combined road validation/vacation hearings:

1. That portion of 3663 E between 1337 N and 1350 N in the Marysville Townsite. (Section 30, T9N, R43E).
Requested by Garth Cordon, of Rigby, Idaho – an adjoining property owner.
2. That portion of 3700 E between 860 N and 900 N, approximately 5 miles south of Ashton. (On the border
of sections 19 and 20, T8N, R43E). Requested by Tayler Martindale, of Ashton, Idaho – an adjoining
property owner.

The purpose of these hearings is to:

a. Receive and consider evidence and testimony to aid in determining whether these roads are public roads
(in the event that this is uncertain or contested).
b. For those roads that are (or are determined to be) public – to receive evidence and testimony as to
whether it is in the public interest that they should remain public, in whole or in part.

The Board will hear these matters at a public hearing at or about 7:00PM on Wednesday, July 29th, 2020, in
the Fremont County Annex Building, located at 101 North Bridge Street, St. Anthony, Idaho. All are invited
and encouraged to attend.

Maps of the roads concerned, are available for public review at the Fremont County Courthouse, Clerk’s
Office, located at 151 W. 1st North, St. Anthony, Idaho, and open from 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday,
and online at www.co.fremont.id.us. Public comment is encouraged. Written comments will be accepted
and considered if received in the Fremont County Clerk’s Office, 151 W. 1st North, St. Anthony, ID 83445, no
later than eight (8) calendar days prior to the meeting.

Due to the Governor’s orders regarding meetings during the novel coronavirus, hearing attendance in person
will be limited to twenty (20) persons and will be on a first come, first served basis. All others should
participate telephonically. Those wishing to listen to or participate in the public hearing telephonically should
call (208) 624-5646 to conference in, using participant code number 660193. Those requesting special
accommodations should contact County Clerk Abbie Mace no later than seven (7) days before the hearing at
(208) 624-7332. Please note that the County reserves the right to bar attendees who are evidencing
symptoms of the novel coronavirus: all persons should be prepared to attend the telephone conference, if
necessary.
