Johnny Sack Cabin

Johnny Sack Cabin - Big Springs

Due to the Corona Virus, the Johnny Sack Cabin will not be open to the public during 2021. Due to the limited space within the cabin, it is not possible to practice social distancing within the cabin. Interpretive volunteers will be in the Big Springs area, weather permitting, to answer questions regarding the Sack Cabin and the unique springs.

Fremont County is home of the world famous Henrys Lake and the Henrys Fork and other fishing and recreation waterways.

As of August 1, 2020, an overnight camp fee will be charged at Frome Park, Henry’s Lake. The fee for overnight camping will be $15 per campsite. No launch fee will be charged at this time. Donations, in lieu of a launch fee, are very welcome.

Attention power boaters and paddlers - don’t forget you can get a list of required safety information for your boat delivered electronically to your mobile device using “My Boat”, Idaho Dept. of Parks and Recreation Dept.’s web-based app.
