Fremont County Parks and Recreation Dept. is making application ot the Idaho Dept of Parks and Recreation seeking funding for avalanche beacon safety boards. The solar powered boards alert riders as to if their avalanche beacons are in working order.The safety boards will be located at four snowmobile trail heads in Island Park, northern Fremont County.

Funding for the poposed project may be made available through user fees administered by IDPR.

As part of the application process, public comment is encouraged. Written comments will be accepted until January 22, 2019 via e-mail at: tcikitoga@co.fremont.id.us. Or, mailed to Fremont County Parks and Recreation, 125 N. Bridge St., St. Anthony, Idaho 83445

Stickers are NOT available at county courthouses.
