LEGAL NOTICE - SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE:

The Board of Commissioners of Fremont County, State of Idaho, in compliance with Idaho Code section 67-2808, hereby publishes notice of intent to award sole source procurements to the following vendors Solacom Technologies, Inc. and Syringa Networks, in connection with the County’s participation in regional emergency call handling and routing services.  It has been determined by the Board of Commissioners that participation in this multi-County service is economically and technologically advantageous, participation in the shared service makes “competitive solicitation impractical disadvantageous or unreasonable under the circumstances”, and in this instance the “compatibility of equipment, components, accessories, computer software, replacement parts or service is of paramount consideration.”  The purchase to be made is of Solacom 9-1-1 equipment, software and services, as well as Syringa MPLS network connectivity.  Further details of the purchase are available by contacting Dina Sallak-Windes at dwindes@co.fremont.id.us or (208) 624-4418.  Any vendor may challenge this sole source procurement. Notice of Public Hearing

Brent Singleton of St. Anthony, ID, has filed a Notice of Appeal of the Fremont County Planning and Zoning Commission’s decision to deny a Class II permit for a gravel pit on property located in the Wilford area at approximately 2340 E 300 N, St. Anthony, ID (file #18-020).

Fremont County’s Board of County Commissioners will hold a public hearing on this appeal on Wednesday, April 10th, 2019, at or about 7:00 PM, in the Fremont County Annex Building, located at 101 N. Bridge Street in St. Anthony, ID. (The meeting room is accessed by a dedicated exterior door adjacent to the Fremont County Planning and Building Department’s main entry.)  All are invited and encouraged to attend.

A copy of the of the Notice of Appeal, the application file, the Planning & Zoning Commission’s decision, and any associated materials are available for public review in the Fremont County Clerk’s Office, located at 151 W. 1st North, Suite 12, St. Anthony, Idaho, and open from 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday.

Public comment is encouraged. Written comments will be accepted and considered if received in the Fremont County Clerk’s Office, 151 W. 1st North, St. Anthony, ID 83445, no later than eight (8) calendar days prior to the meeting.

Notice of Public Hearing: Road Validation/Vacation

Pursuant to Idaho Code 40-203 and 203A, the Fremont County Board of County Commissioners will hold the following combined validation/vacation hearing:

  • An unbuilt 30’ right of way near Highway 47 and 1400 North in Fremont County; more particularly described as
The East 30 feet of the Northwest quarter of the  Southeast quarter; and the East 30 feet of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter; Section 23, Township 9 North, Range 23 East, Boise meridian.

The purpose of this hearings is to:

  • Receive and consider evidence and testimony to aid in determining whether this right of way is a public right of way (in the event that this is uncertain or contested).
  • To receive evidence and testimony as to whether it is in the public interest that this right of way should remain public, in whole or in part. 

The Board will hear these matters at a public hearing at or about 9:00 AM on Monday, April 29th, 2019, in the County Commission Chambers of the Fremont County Courthouse, located at 151 West 1st North, St. Anthony, Idaho. All are invited and encouraged to attend.

Maps of the roads concerned, are available for public review at the Fremont County Courthouse, Clerk’s Office, located at 151 W. 1st North, St. Anthony, Idaho, and open from 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday, and online at www.co.fremont.id.us.  Public comment is encouraged.
